This is a very interesting read. I like sci-fi of all types but it does make it interesting to see what the past thought of us now. I wonder what humaity will be doing in 2108. Probably fighting the Borg.

The Lost in Space review was really funny. And I would hope that if humaity tried something like that..sending people into the unknown never to return..to please..please put Matt Leblanc on that ship and jettison him to the cold reaches of space for 350 million years for ruining the whole movie version of Lost in Space. Why did they cast him in that…WHY.

Well according to TMZ.com Michael Jackson has some new digs. And at only 100k a month.

The financially challenged King of Pop  has somehow rented a home in one of the most exclusive areas of L.A.

The $38 million Holmby Hils pad has seven bedrooms, 13 baths, 12 fireplaces, a screening room and, of course, a cellar for Jesus juice. For sleepovers, there’s a guest house, swimming pool and garden.

The deal was inked several weeks ago under a heavy-duty confidentiality agreement. Michael already has stayed there.

So even when he is down he somehow manages to pull through. I wonder what he has to do because I really doubt he is freelancing as a karaoke DJ or something like that.

Majel Barrett Roddenberry, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry’s widow and a fixture of nearly every incarnation of the space travel franchise, died on Thursday. She was 76.

You may know her more as the Betazoid ambassador Lwaxana Troi and as the voice of the starship’s onboard computer — a job she would also hold on spin-offs Deep Space Nine and Voyager, audio books, animated series, video games as well as on the forthcoming J.J. Abrams prequel film.

After her husband’s death in 1991, Roddenberry continued his legacy by helping bring to life other TV projects he had been working on, including the television series Earth: Final Conflict and Andromeda.

I’m am so deeply sadden by this. I didn’t even know she was battling cancer.

I’ve been a life long trekkie and it just makes me feel sad that she is gone. I guess you can’t live forever but her memory and her special place in history will go on.

Majel you will be missed.

The prostitute that spanked ex-NY Governor Elliot Spitzer, just got someone else spanked — with a 1.5 mil lawsuit.

Ashley Dupre, known to political big wigs as “Kristen”, is being named as the other woman by model Mary Dunphy. Dunphy says she walked in on her ex-fiancé, Robert Oppenheimer Jr., while he was “consulting” with Dupre in his Manhattan apartment according to the New York Daily News.

The lawsuit alleges emotional distress, due largely to the fact that Dunphy was pregnant at the time.
