TMZ.com – The infamous house where Cameron Frye was savagely beaten by his father in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (they cut that part out of the movie) is now being unloaded to the highest bidder.
The sweet house — which is in Highland Park, Illinois — has 4 bedrooms, 4 bath, 5,300 sq. ft. and is up for grabs for $2.3 million, according to realtor.com.
thisis50.com – 50 Cent and Bette Midler first got to know each other when they collaborated developing a public garden in 50 Cent’s old hood Jamaica Queens. Now according to EOnline there might be a duet in the works.

TotalFilm – Yes, the man who used to be in charge at Disney has nabbed newcomer Mark Hammer to write a script based on the Bazooka Joe character (below), which is used to advertise the gum.
The character, who wears a mysterious eye patch (who wants to bet they try to forge an origin story around it?) gets into various scrapes assisted by a group of friends.
There’s the likes of Pesty, Mort, Toughie, Hungry Herman, Jane and a dog called Walkie Talkie. We’re not making this up.

Access Hollywood – Brad Pitt might not know where the road ahead will take him, but for the moment, the actor told Ann Curry in an interview for NBC’s the “Today” show that he’s “in the zone.”
Ann caught up with Brad in Cannes on Wednesday morning, where the actor is promoting his new Quentin Tarantino film, “Inglourious Basterds.”
WBLA TV – An autopsy has revealed that adult film star Marilyn Chambers died of the effects of a cerebral hemorrhage and aneurysm related to heart disease.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office released the results of toxicology tests Monday.
The tests also indicated the presence of two prescription drugs in Chambers’ system, but not in excess amounts.
An autopsy was performed on Chambers April 14, two days after she was found dead at her home in the Los Angeles suburb of Canyon Country. She was 56.
Chambers helped bring hard-core adult films into the mainstream when she starred in 1972’s “Behind the Green Door.”
Her appearance in the film cost the then-aspiring model and actress her job as Procter & Gamble’s Ivory Snow girl.

The Brazilian model’s father Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz has revealed the couple are planning a Kabbalah ceremony to have their union recognized by the mystical Jewish faith followed by the 50-year-old singer.
However, their union will not be legally binding.

contactmusic.com – Celebrity Lindsay Lohan was thought to have had her home ransacked by burglars yesterday, but it was actually just messy.
Police were called to the star’s home at 3pm when an alarm was triggered by intruders.
However, when the police investigated what they thought was ‘ransacking’ by the intruders, they discovered Lindsay’s home was actually just a mess. The Los Angles Police Department, who were called to her Hollywood home, confirmed nothing was actually stolen from the property.
Huffington Post – Miss California USA can retain her crown even though she failed to reveal she had posed in her underwear as a teenager, pageant owner Donald Trump said Tuesday.
Carrie Prejean appeared by Trump’s side as he made the announcement at New York’s Trump Tower.
Trump also defended the answer that Prejean gave at last month’s Miss USA pageant when she was asked her view of marriage by judge Perez Hilton, a celebrity blogger. She said she believes marriage is between a man and a woman.
“It’s the same answer the president of the United States gave; it’s the same answer many people gave,” Trump said. “She gave an honorable answer; she gave an answer from her heart.”
