Comic-Con 09 Photo Gallery
25th July 2009

Gawker – They like sci-fi! They wear costumes! They play with light sabers! They saw The X-Files movie in the theater! Yes, every year people freak out when they found out that Comic-Con is full of freaks.
Well, it wouldn’t be the same without them. Here are some of our favorite pictures from the first two days. Strangely, most of them are of women. Like everyone else, the photographer is probably too scared of girls to actually talk to them, so he just snaps away.

How many of you had handmade maps on graphing paper so you could collect all of the secret compartment shwag?

iPhone Game or Art?
16th January 2009

Eric Loyer’s Ruben & Lullaby is billed as a “story you can play”, a wordless comic book-styled piece in which two lovers have their first fight on a park bench, guided toward resolution by your stroking and shaking.
Watch the video and check out the link to see how it works. I haven’t downloaded it myself as $3 is a little high for just interactive fun. Plus my glass screen is cracked so everything looks ugly on my iPhone at the moment.
