Piven wins over mercury loving broadway producers
27th August 2009
Gawker – The arbitrator in the case of sushi-loving Jeremy Piven versus the Broadway producers of Speed-the-Plow ruled today that the producers could not prove their breach of contract suit against the star. But they still think they were right.
TMZ.com – Robin Williams has postponed the rest of his comedy tour to have heart surgery.
A statement just released by his reps says Robin will have “to undergo surgery for an aortic valve replacement” — and said his tour will hopefully pick back up in the fall.
The release also included this statement from Williams:
“I’m so touched by everyone’s support and well wishes. This tour has been amazing fun and I can’t wait to get back out on the road after a little tune-up.”
Kathy Griffin, the ratings whore that she is, does something no one expects. Well, not really.

Yabba-Dabba Broadway!
04th December 2008
According to reports, writer Marco Pennette — is near a deal to write the book for a Flintstones musical!
Says Variety: “Pennette’s script will rely on contemporary issues: Wilma, for example, mulls leaving Fred because he still acts too much like a caveman and hasn’t adapted to more modern ways. Barney and Betty tackle fertility issues before deciding to adopt. Musical will also tackle global warming — but in this case, as The Flintstones takes place before the ice age, the characters will confront ‘global cooling.’”
Hmm, sounds like a Yabba-Dabba good time.
